Made from the hand-picked tea of high mountains old wild tea trees in Ha Giang, north of Vietnam, the tea master and his wife spend 2 months in the mountains during the tea harvesting session to make tea in a small hut he built. From tea picking to firing to rolling to packing, he handles the entire tea making process with his wife. The leaves are plucked from wild trees of the Assamica variety estimated to be hundreds of years old grown at 1800m-2200m. Oxidised and thereafter sun-dried with no shaping, this tea showcase an exceptional honey floral and honey suckle notes.
