The Galafrey Dry Grown Shiraz is showing a great character that is synonymous with Galafrey's terroir. You will find a deep dense colour of dark plum. It then opens with lifted spice and black pepper aromas cutting through deeper vanillin oak. The medium weight palate is supple and soft with nice balance of fruit and oak.
This wine is impressive. In fact, a gentle and persuasive wine that creeps and delivers by stealth and is a typical Shiraz that comes from dry, cool to mild climate grapes of the Great Southern region.
You must try this if strong, heavy-bodied and intense Australian Shiraz is not your thing. You will be genuinely surprise.
